Few tips to help you along the way>
1) Take things at your own pace: It’s completely fine if a particular category or particular item takes more time. Follow the guide at your own pace and also in which ever order you prefer.
2) Keep what feels right: Minimalism does not mean throwing away everything you own and sticking to a few basics. If keeping an old pair of shoes reminds you of a special time in your life or if an old painting has some old memories attached to it, then by all means please keep it.
3)Make it a habit: Once you are done with the 10 days, you will have a fresh start. Hence it will be easier to maintain things if you can make purging and cluttering a regular habit. For example, you can clear out your wallet once every week so get rid of old receipts, cards and change.
